How AI review summaries and ratings work
Reading twenty reviews to decide on one campground is a chore. RV Roost condenses them into a short AI review summary so you can size up a place in seconds. This page explains where the summaries come from and how to use them alongside the ratings and photos.

What the summary gives you
Open any campground's detail card and you'll see an AI-written summary that captures:
- Overall sentiment — the general tone of what campers said.
- Key themes — the points that come up repeatedly, like hookup quality, noise, cleanliness, or the surroundings.
It's meant to surface the signal in the reviews quickly — not to replace reading a few yourself.
Where the reviews come from
Summaries are drawn from camper reviews of the campground, which can include reviews written by RV Roost users and ratings from other public sources. Alongside the summary you'll find:
- Star ratings aggregated across reviews.
- Individual reviews with the reviewer's notes and the month and year they stayed.
- Photos other campers uploaded.

How this differs from the Match Score
Reviews tell you whether other people liked a place. The Match Score tells you whether it fits your rig and preferences. They answer different questions — read them together before you book.
A note on accuracy
AI summaries reflect the reviews available at the time and can miss recent changes. For anything that would make or break your stay — a specific hookup, a length limit, a closure — confirm directly with the campground before you rely on it.
