Terms of Service
Plain-language summary: RV Roost is an RV trip planner offered by Adventuring Enterprises, LLC. You can use it on the web or through our iPhone and Android apps, which provide turn-by-turn navigation using your device's location. We offer a 7-day free trial and paid monthly and annual subscriptions. If you start a trial we collect a payment method, and unless you cancel before the trial ends it automatically converts to a paid subscription that renews until you cancel — and you can cancel renewal at any time. You must be 18 or older and in the United States to use it. Itineraries are AI-generated suggestions and navigation is an aid, not a guarantee — always verify campgrounds, roads, and clearances yourself, and follow posted signs and traffic laws, before and while you travel. Some campgrounds can be booked in the Service through our partner Spot2Nite; those reservations are between you and the campground under Spot2Nite's terms, and we don't collect or refund reservation payments. Be decent with reviews and photos, don't abuse the service, don't scrape it or use it to train AI, and understand that the service is provided as-is. Disputes between you and us are resolved by binding individual arbitration — you waive class actions and jury trials, except for qualifying small-claims matters. If we update these Terms, continuing to use the Service means you accept the update.
1. Agreement to these Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a contract between you and Adventuring Enterprises, LLC, a Florida limited liability company doing business as RV Roost ("RV Roost," "we," "us," or "our"). They govern your use of the RV Roost website, our iPhone and Android apps, and our trip-planning and navigation features (together, the "Service").
You first accept these Terms when you create an account, which requires you to affirmatively check a box agreeing to them. After that, if we update these Terms, your continued use of the Service once the update takes effect means you accept the updated Terms — see Section 22. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information. It is part of the deal between us, and we encourage you to read it.
2. Who may use the Service
You must be 18 years of age or older to create an account or use the Service. By creating an account you confirm that you are at least 18.
The Service is offered to residents of the United States. We make no promise that the Service is appropriate or available anywhere else.
3. Service availability and changes
- We offer access to the Service, or to certain features of it, through a free trial and paid subscription plans (see Section 4).
- Features may change or be removed without notice.
- We may suspend or shut down the Service, in whole or in part, at any time.
- We make no commitment about uptime, data durability, or support response times.
4. Subscriptions, free trial, billing, and cancellation
RV Roost is offered through paid subscription plans, with an optional free trial for new subscribers. The plans available, their prices, and their billing intervals are shown in the Service at the time you subscribe.
Free trial. We currently offer a 7-day free trial to eligible new subscribers. When you start a trial, you must provide a valid payment method and you authorize us, through our payment processor, to charge it. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your trial automatically converts into a paid subscription at the end of the 7-day period, and your payment method is charged the fee for the plan you selected. Trials are limited to one per person, account, and payment card. To keep the trial fair, we use fraud-prevention measures — including recognizing a payment card that has already been used to start a trial (see our Privacy Policy) — and we may decline to start, or cancel, a free trial, and require immediate payment or refuse service, if that card or account has already been used for a trial or if we reasonably believe you are attempting to obtain more than one trial (for example, by creating multiple accounts or using multiple payment methods). We may also modify, withdraw, or determine eligibility for a trial offer at our discretion.
Subscription plans. We offer subscriptions billed on a monthly basis and on an annual basis (the annual plan is offered at a discount compared with paying month-to-month). The plan you choose, its price, and its billing interval are shown to you before you confirm your purchase.
Automatic renewal. Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period — monthly plans each month, annual plans each year — and your payment method is charged the then-current price for the next period, until you cancel. You authorize us and our payment processor to store your payment method and to charge it on a recurring basis for these renewals. Before you subscribe or start a trial, we present these automatic-renewal terms in a clear and conspicuous manner and obtain your affirmative consent to them, and — where required by law — we will send you a renewal reminder before a renewal charge.
Cancelling renewal. You may cancel the renewal of any subscription at any time, effective at the end of your current billing period. When you cancel, you keep access to paid features through the end of the period you have already paid for, and you are not charged again. Cancelling during a free trial stops the trial from converting, and you are not charged. We provide a way to cancel within the Service or by emailing support@rv-roost.com.
Price changes. We may change subscription prices and the plans we offer. If we change the price that applies to your subscription, we will give you advance notice (for example, by email), and the new price applies to your next renewal after the notice. If you do not agree to a price change, you may cancel before it takes effect.
Billing and payment processing. Payments are processed by a third-party payment processor; we do not collect or store your full payment-card number or other complete card details ourselves (see our Privacy Policy). By providing a payment method you represent that you are authorized to use it, and you authorize the charges described above together with any applicable taxes. If a charge fails or is reversed, we may retry it, suspend or downgrade your access, or cancel the subscription.
Taxes. Prices shown may not include sales, use, or similar taxes. Where we are required to collect them, applicable taxes are added at the time of billing.
Refunds. Except where required by law, subscription fees are non-refundable, and we do not provide refunds or credits for partial billing periods, unused time, or features you did not use. Cancelling stops future renewals; it does not refund the current period. Nothing in this section limits any non-waivable refund or cancellation right you have under applicable law.
5. Your account
- Give us accurate information and keep your email address current — it is how we reach you about your account.
- Keep your password and sign-in methods to yourself. You are responsible for activity that happens under your account.
- One account per person. Don't share, sell, or transfer your account.
- Tell us at support@rv-roost.com right away if you think someone else has accessed your account.
6. The Service, AI-generated content, and navigation
RV Roost uses artificial intelligence to generate trip itineraries — including routes, daily driving legs, points of interest, and campground suggestions — from the details you provide, and our apps offer turn-by-turn navigation to help you drive those routes. Understand what that means:
- Itineraries are suggestions, not facts. AI-generated content can be wrong, outdated, or incomplete. Campgrounds may be closed, full, renamed, or unsuitable for your rig.
- Verify before you rely. Always confirm campground availability, reservation requirements, road conditions, vehicle clearances (height, length, weight), seasonal closures, and drive times with authoritative sources before booking or traveling.
- Navigation is an aid, not a guarantee. Our apps compute routes using an RV-aware ("truck") routing profile based on the rig dimensions you enter, but those routes do not guarantee that every road, bridge, tunnel, or turn is safe or legal for your vehicle. They may be inaccurate, outdated, or miss restrictions such as low bridges, weight limits, propane-restricted tunnels, or steep grades. You are responsible for driving safely: obey all posted signs, traffic laws, and weight and clearance limits, and use your own judgment regardless of what the app shows. You are responsible for entering accurate rig dimensions, and routing cannot account for dimensions you enter incorrectly or do not provide. RV Roost is not a GPS provider and does not guarantee route suitability, bridge or tunnel clearances, road conditions, or campground accessibility; we do not inspect routes, verify road construction or closures, or account for temporary, seasonal, or other restrictions. You must independently verify bridge and overhead clearances, weight and axle limits, propane and other hazardous-material tunnel restrictions, seasonal closures, road construction, weather conditions, and local traffic laws before and during your trip. Navigation should never replace the driver's independent judgment.
- Don't operate the app while driving. Set your route before you start, and have a passenger handle the device, or pull over, if you need to change it.
- Not professional advice. Nothing in the Service is legal, safety, mechanical, or travel advice.
- Don’t rely on the Service in emergencies or off-grid. Connectivity and data may be unavailable in remote areas. Do not rely on the Service for emergency, medical, or safety information, and carry independent maps and a means of calling for help.
Information shown from third parties — such as Recreation.gov facility data, Google ratings and photos, and map imagery — comes from those providers and may itself be inaccurate or out of date. See Section 11.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Break the law, or encourage anyone else to, while using the Service.
- Post reviews, photos, or other content that is false, deceptive, harassing, hateful, obscene, or that you don't have the right to share.
- Post content that reveals someone else's personal information without their consent.
- Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service, or breach or circumvent its security or authentication measures.
- Interfere with the Service's operation — for example by uploading malware or working around rate limits.
- Impersonate any person, or misrepresent your affiliation with anyone.
- Create more than one account, or use multiple payment cards or false information, to obtain more than one free trial or otherwise circumvent trial, subscription, or eligibility limits.
We may remove content or suspend accounts that we reasonably believe violate this section.
8. Prohibited activities and proprietary rights
The Service, together with all associated materials and technology—including but not limited to text, databases, campground listings, reviews, maps, photographs, graphics, logos, software, source code, and the systems used to provide the Service—is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws (see Section 13 for the categories of materials we own). Except as expressly authorized under these Terms, you may not reproduce, copy, modify, adapt, distribute, publish, display, transmit, license, transfer, sell, create derivative works from, or otherwise make use of any portion of the Service or its content.
You further agree that you will not:
- Scrape or Collect Data. Use any automated or manual process, including robots, spiders, crawlers, scrapers, indexing tools, harvesting software, or similar technologies, to access, monitor, retrieve, copy, or index any portion of the Service without our prior written consent. You may not circumvent, disable, or ignore restrictions contained in our robots.txt file or any other technical measures designed to control access to the Service.
- Overburden the Platform. Engage in activities that interfere with the operation of the Service or that generate, in our reasonable judgment, excessive, abusive, or disproportionate demands on our servers, networks, or supporting infrastructure.
- Reverse Engineer the Service. Decompile, disassemble, reverse engineer, attempt to extract source code, discover underlying algorithms, or otherwise seek to determine the architecture, trade secrets, or proprietary elements of any software associated with the Service, except where such restrictions are unenforceable under applicable law.
- Use the Service for Unauthorized Commercial Purposes. Utilize the Service, its content, or any information obtained through it in connection with a commercial enterprise—including, without limitation, a competing campground reservation platform, RV trip-planning service, route optimization service, RV rental marketplace, or any business that resells, redistributes, or monetizes access to the Service—unless expressly authorized by us in writing.
- Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning Restrictions. Unless we provide prior written authorization, you may not collect, extract, download, reproduce, or otherwise use any content, data, metadata, or materials from the Service for the purpose of developing, training, fine-tuning, validating, benchmarking, operating, or improving any artificial intelligence, machine learning, large language model, or similar automated system (collectively, “AI Uses”). Any unauthorized use of Service content for AI Uses by an individual, organization, or automated process constitutes a material violation of these Terms.
9. Your content
The Service lets you post campground reviews and upload photos ("Your Content"). You own Your Content, and you keep that ownership. So that we can run and promote the Service, you grant RV Roost a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, transferable license to host, store, reproduce, modify (for formatting and moderation), display, perform, and distribute Your Content in connection with operating, providing, improving, and promoting the Service — including the right to sublicense these rights solely to our hosting providers and other service providers to the extent necessary to operate the Service. This license does not transfer ownership of Your Content and ends when you or we remove the content, except for copies retained as required by law or for legitimate record-keeping and except for content others have already shared.
You are responsible for Your Content. By posting it you confirm that you took the photos or wrote the words yourself (or otherwise have the right to share them), and that posting them doesn't violate anyone's rights or any law.
Reviews and photos are public — anyone using the Service can see them, along with the display name on your account. You can ask us to remove Your Content by emailing support@rv-roost.com. We may keep copies as required by law or for legitimate record-keeping.
We may remove or refuse any of Your Content at our discretion, with or without notice, including content reported under Section 10.
10. Copyright complaints (DMCA)
We respect copyright and expect users to do the same. If you believe content on the Service infringes your copyright, send a notice under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) to our designated agent:
Adventuring Enterprises, LLC d/b/a RV Roost — Copyright Agent
7901 4th St N # 34812, St. Petersburg, FL 33702
Email: legal@rv-roost.com
Your notice must include: (1) identification of the copyrighted work; (2) identification and location of the allegedly infringing material; (3) your contact information; (4) a statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorized; (5) a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the notice is accurate and you are the owner or authorized to act for the owner; and (6) your physical or electronic signature.
If your content was removed because of a notice and you believe that was a mistake, you may send a counter-notice with the information the DMCA requires to the same address. We may terminate the accounts of repeat infringers.
11. Third-party services and data
The Service displays information from, and sends limited data to, third-party services — including Recreation.gov (RIDB), Google (sign-in, place data, ratings, photos), Apple (sign-in, where offered), a third-party AI provider (itinerary generation), a maps and routing provider (map tiles and route/navigation computation), a campground reservation and booking provider (Spot2Nite), a third-party payment processor (subscription billing), and map data providers. We don't control these services and aren't responsible for their content, accuracy, or availability. Some campgrounds can be reserved within the Service through our booking partner, Spot2Nite, under Spot2Nite's and the campground's terms; others link out to the campground's or Recreation.gov's own site — see Section 12 (Campground reservations). Subscription payments are processed by our third-party payment processor under its own terms and privacy policy.
12. Campground reservations
Some campgrounds and RV parks can be reserved within the Service through our third-party booking partner, Spot2Nite. When you make a reservation this way, the following apply.
- We are an intermediary, not the campground. RV Roost facilitates your reservation through Spot2Nite; we are not the operator, owner, or seller of any campground or campsite. Your reservation is a contract between you and the campground (arranged through Spot2Nite), under Spot2Nite's and the campground's terms, policies, and rules. RV Roost is not a party to that reservation.
- Payment. Payment for a reservation is collected and processed by Spot2Nite and its payment processor, under their own terms and privacy policy. You enter your payment-card details directly with Spot2Nite's processor; RV Roost does not receive or store your card number, and RV Roost does not itself charge you for reservations. Reservation payments are separate from any RV Roost subscription fee described in Section 4, and the automatic-renewal terms in Section 4 do not apply to reservations.
- Prices, taxes, fees, and availability. The prices, taxes, fees, site details, and availability shown for a reservation come from Spot2Nite and the campground and may change or become unavailable at any time. A reservation is not confirmed until Spot2Nite and/or the campground confirm it.
- Cancellations, changes, and refunds. Cancellations, date changes, refunds, deposits, no-show charges, and similar matters are governed by the campground's and Spot2Nite's policies, not by RV Roost. Because RV Roost does not collect the reservation payment, RV Roost does not issue refunds for reservations. Direct any cancellation, change, refund, or billing request for a reservation to Spot2Nite or the campground.
- Your information. To make a reservation, you provide — and we share with Spot2Nite — the information needed to complete it, such as your name, email, phone number, billing address, trip dates, party size, and vehicle details. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle that information and what Spot2Nite receives.
- No responsibility for the campground or Spot2Nite. RV Roost does not inspect, endorse, or guarantee any campground, its listings, availability, condition, safety, or suitability for your rig, and is not responsible for the acts, omissions, products, or services of Spot2Nite or any campground. The disclaimers of warranties, limitation of liability, and assumption of risk and release elsewhere in these Terms (including Sections 13–16) apply to reservations. Disputes about a reservation itself are between you and Spot2Nite and/or the campground; disputes between you and RV Roost remain subject to Section 19.
13. Intellectual property
The Service itself — including its software, design, text we wrote, logos, and the "RV Roost" name — belongs to Adventuring Enterprises, LLC or its licensors. We retain all right, title, and interest in and to the Service and its underlying technology and content, including our software and source code, algorithms, trip-planning and route-optimization logic, AI prompts and prompt engineering, databases, compiled and curated campground information, and all derivative works of and improvements to any of the foregoing, whether developed by us or suggested by users. These Terms don't give you any right to use our trademarks or branding. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service as intended while these Terms are in effect.
14. Disclaimer of warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED — INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, AND UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE OPERATION. WITHOUT LIMITING THAT, WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT ITINERARIES, CAMPGROUND INFORMATION, DRIVE TIMES, ROUTES, OR TURN-BY-TURN NAVIGATION ARE ACCURATE, COMPLETE, OR SAFE TO RELY ON. SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN WARRANTY DISCLAIMERS, SO PARTS OF THIS SECTION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
15. Limitation of liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW: (A) ADVENTURING ENTERPRISES, LLC AND ITS MEMBERS, MANAGERS, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, LOST DATA, OR TRAVEL-RELATED COSTS OR LOSSES (INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, VEHICLE OR RV DAMAGE, TOWING COSTS, CAMPSITE OR CAMPGROUND LOSSES, MISSED OR CANCELLED RESERVATIONS, FUEL COSTS, LODGING COSTS, AND EMERGENCY OR RESCUE EXPENSES, AS WELL AS COSTS ARISING FROM RELIANCE ON AN ITINERARY OR ON NAVIGATION DIRECTIONS), ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE; AND (B) OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE PAST 12 MONTHS OR $100. NOTHING IN THESE TERMS EXCLUDES OR LIMITS ANY LIABILITY THAT CANNOT BE EXCLUDED OR LIMITED UNDER APPLICABLE LAW, INCLUDING LIABILITY FOR GROSS NEGLIGENCE, WILLFUL MISCONDUCT, OR FRAUD. SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY, SO PARTS OF THIS SECTION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
16. Assumption of Risk and Release
RV travel and outdoor recreation involve inherent risks — including operating, driving, towing, and maneuvering a large or oversized vehicle, trailer, or fifth wheel; road, traffic, weather, wildlife, mountainous, and other terrain conditions; off-grid and remote travel in areas with limited or no cell service or emergency access; errors in navigation or third-party mapping data; and the condition of campgrounds, facilities, and other locations. You understand and voluntarily accept these risks. You are solely responsible for your own safety and for the safe operation of your vehicle, and you agree that you use the Service, follow any itinerary, and drive any route at your own risk. We do not inspect, endorse, or guarantee the condition or safety of any campground or other location. To the fullest extent permitted by law, you release Adventuring Enterprises, LLC and its members, managers, and agents from any claim — including for bodily injury, personal injury, wrongful death, property damage, or vehicle or RV damage — arising out of or relating to your travel, your driving, your reliance on any itinerary or navigation, or your visit to any campground or location. This release does not apply to any liability that cannot be released under applicable law, including liability to the extent caused by our own gross negligence, willful misconduct, or fraud.
17. Indemnification
If someone brings a claim against us because of Your Content, your use of the Service, your travel, driving, or trip decisions, or your violation of these Terms or the law or any third party’s rights, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Adventuring Enterprises, LLC from the resulting losses, costs, and reasonable attorneys' fees.
18. Electronic communications and notices
You agree to receive these Terms, the Privacy Policy, subscription and automatic-renewal disclosures, renewal and price-change notices, and other account and legal communications from us electronically — by email to the address on your account or by posting within the Service — and you agree that these electronic communications satisfy any legal requirement that such communications be in writing. You are responsible for keeping your email address current (see Section 5). You may withdraw this consent by closing your account; doing so means we can no longer provide the Service to you.
19. Arbitration and class action waiver
PLEASE READ THIS SECTION CAREFULLY — IT AFFECTS YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS, INCLUDING YOUR RIGHT TO GO TO COURT AND TO HAVE A JURY TRIAL, AND REQUIRES INDIVIDUAL ARBITRATION INSTEAD OF CLASS ACTIONS.
Except for the small-claims and injunctive matters described below, you and Adventuring Enterprises, LLC agree that any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be resolved by final and binding individual arbitration, rather than in court. The arbitration will be administered by a recognized arbitration provider under its consumer arbitration rules, and judgment on the award may be entered in any court of competent jurisdiction.
Jury-trial waiver. You and we each waive any right to a trial by jury in any such dispute.
Class-action waiver. Disputes will be conducted only on an individual basis and not as a plaintiff or class member in any purported class, collective, consolidated, or representative proceeding. The arbitrator may not consolidate more than one person's claims or preside over any form of a class or representative proceeding.
Small-claims and injunctive carve-out. Either of us may bring an individual claim in small-claims court if it qualifies, and either of us may seek injunctive or other equitable relief in court to protect intellectual-property or confidentiality rights.
20. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Service, or ask us to delete your account, at any time by emailing support@rv-roost.com. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, if we reasonably believe your use creates risk for us or other users, or if we discontinue the Service. If you cancel, or if we suspend or terminate your account, your paid access ends as described in Section 4; cancelling or terminating does not entitle you to a refund of fees already paid, except as required by law. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including Sections 4, 8–10, and 12–23) survive.
21. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. For any dispute that is not subject to arbitration under Section 19 (including the small-claims and injunctive matters described there), you and we each agree to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of the state and federal courts located in Miami-Dade County, Florida.
Nothing in this section prevents either of us from bringing a qualifying claim in small-claims court.
22. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated Terms here with a new effective date and, if the changes are material, give you reasonable notice (for example, by email or through the Service). Your continued use of the Service after the updated Terms take effect means you accept them. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, your choice is to stop using the Service and, if you wish, ask us to delete your account.
The version of these Terms with the most recent effective date is the one that applies.
23. General
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and us about the Service and supersede any prior agreements on that subject. Severability. If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permissible and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect; if the class-action waiver in Section 19 is held unenforceable as to a particular claim, that claim (and only that claim) will proceed in court. Waiver. If we don't enforce a provision right away, we haven't waived it. Assignment. You may not assign or transfer these Terms or your account without our prior written consent, and any attempt to do so is void; we may assign these Terms, in whole or in part, including as part of a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets. Force majeure. We are not liable for any delay or failure to perform caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including acts of God, natural disasters, severe weather, fire, flood, war, terrorism, civil unrest, labor disputes, utility or internet failures, third-party service or vendor outages, or government action. Export controls and sanctions. You represent that you are not located in, and are not a national of or ordinarily resident in, any country or region subject to comprehensive U.S. sanctions, that you are not on any U.S. government restricted-party or denied-persons list, and that you will not use the Service in violation of any applicable export-control or sanctions laws.
